The 14th Annual Northwest Solar Summit will be held in Woodinville on May 2 and 3, 2014.
With the sunset of some solar subsidies rapidly approaching, the state’s solar industry may face a major hurdle to its continued growth. This year the Summit’s tag line is, “The Second Sunrise of Solar in Washington – Solar in Washington after 2020.”
The Summit is intended to bring together stakeholders in the Washington solar industry, including solar contractors and installers, architects, engineers, project managers, utility representatives, salespeople, environmentalists and advocates. Their goal is to create solutions to the issues they face in promoting and expanding the use of solar energy in Washington. Each group will present on what they see as the best future for solar in Washington after 2020.
